Christian education

Through the ministries at Grace Lutheran, we strive to educate, nurture, and enhance your ability to worship God and accept God’s grace and love in your life. All church members are encouraged to use their talents to minister to others, whether by serving as a Sunday Church school teacher, leading a Bible study, sharing your musical talents, or volunteering to help in our community.

It is through these actions that we share God’s love with others and allow them to know Christ as their Lord and Savior.

We meet each week at 9:15 am!!  We will have music and opening time with Mr. George, prayers and then off to class to learn about God's love and Jesus' teachings.

Youth News

As an ongoing fundraising effort until June 2018—the youth of Grace are asking for your cans. We will use the money from recycling to help with expenses for our trip to Houston!! Bring your cans to church the first Saturday or Sunday of the month.  We will have a box to collect those in the Fellowship Hall!!

As part of fundraising for the girls to get to Houston, Pastor Tom has agreed to color his hair per the winner of a contest to see which one earns the most money.  In the Fellowship Hall you will find two containers one marked Cubs Blue the other Cardinal Red,  place your money in one of these containers and by April 14/15, 2018 whichever has the most money Pastor will color his hair for the weekend and the opening Cubs/Cards game on April 15.

March 31 & April 1 – Youth prep, cook, serve and clean-up for the Easter Breakfast.  Proceeds support the Easter Holiday Baskets.  In addition to these events, other opportunity suggestions have been concerts, movies, sporting events, etc.  Please see Pastor Tom if you have suggestions.
